Frankie Tan, CEO & Co-Founder Frankie has a wealth of experience in start-up ventures, having been in venture capital, technology commercialization and start-up development. Frankie holds Master of Science degrees in Financial Management (with Distinction) from the University of London, United Kingdom and in Strategic Management (Dean's Honours List) from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is a graduate of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom, and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
Kent Tan, Co-Founder Kent spent many years in engineering project management and direction. He has been involved in commercialization and project development of MPEG4-SLS technology in A*STAR, the national research organization in Singapore. Kent holds Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a MBA from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Kelvin Lee, CTO & Co-Founder Kelvin has years of industrial R&D experience in real-time embedded software and distributed computing; audio coding, computer vision, remote sensor networks and 3D visualization systems. He was instrumental in co-developing MPEG-4 SLS at A*STAR. Kelvin holds a Master of Engineering degree in Digital Signal Processing.
Dr Robert Hsieh, Chief Scientist & VP Network Solutions and Services Robert has years of industrial and academic R&D experience in mobile computing, mobile video streaming, wire and wireless networking systems. Prior to joining the company, Robert has been in research and technical management roles in research laboratories, including SprintLabs USA, Center for Wireless Communications (CWC), Finland, Deutsche Telekom Laboratories, Germany and Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR. Robert obtained his PhD from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2004.
Neil Han YiDong, Team Lead & Principal Engineer
Neil brings extensive experience on software architecture design and development management to the team with his exposure to variety of technologies and domains, including web applications, ubiquitous computing, systems architecture, and embedded system design. He has worked with companies like Siemens and Creative Technology in product development. Neil received his Master of Engineering degree in Software Engineering from Peking University. He is currently attending a MScdegree programme in Management of Technology at National University of Singapore.
Tan Tong Guan, Director
Mr. Tan Tong Guan brings 20 years of experience in business strategy, having been an executive director of investment holding company and shareholder, TGB Private Limited (TGBPL). He is also Executive Chairman of SmartFlex Holdings Ltd., an independent director and chairman of the audit committee of Sing Investments and Finance Limited, director of various companies where TGBPL hold equity shareholdings. Tong Guan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy and is a non-practising member (FCPA) of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
Boon Swan Foo, Advisor
Boon is Chairman and Non-Executive Director of ST Asset Management, Senior Advisor to Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, an Advisor to ST Engineering Ltd and board member of various prominent Temasek-related corporations. Prior to these appointments, Boon was Managing Director of A*STAR and concurrently Executive Chairman of Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd and Deputy Chairman/CEO of ST Engineering Ltd. Boon is a registered Professional Engineer and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountant (UK). He holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore, and has completed Harvard's Advanced Management Program. Presently, he holds an Adjunct Professorship at the Nanyang Technological University.
Howie Singer, Advisor Howie Singer, PhD, is the SVP Strategic Technology & Chief Technology Officer of Warner Music Group based in New York City. He leads the Digital Technology Group that supports WMG's online music and new media initiatives as well as oversees systems, networks and infrastructure related technology. Singer holds a dozen U.S. patents in video processing, consumer electronics and multimedia. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a PhD in operations research from Cornell University.
